Is choosing the Luxon/Kurzick side an account or character thing? - Guild Wars Forums

I'm confused. Lets say you (arbitrarily) choose the Kurzick side. Is your whole account commited to being kurzick, or is it character specific? (ie, could you join the luxons with another char)

Your whole account. Yeah, your 'alliance' officially chooses the side, but your entire account is part of that alliance, not just one character. Not to mention the Faction points are account-based, as well.

Not really, when the storyline unfolds you have to either choose to befriend the luxons or the kurzicks, which both offer different quests.

Except for the Alliance based stuff, its character based, as faction is character based for luxon and kurzick.

Btw, how can an alliance (or a guild without alliance) change the faction it is in ?
